Accessibility
We want sophria.app to be readable and usable by everyone: with a keyboard, a screen reader, large text, high contrast or no animations.
What we aim for
- WCAG 2.2, level AA, on every page of the website, in all six languages.
What we check with every release
- An automated check (axe-core) of every page template, in light and dark themes, on desktop and mobile: no error is tolerated.
- The language menu, the sign-up form and the breathing exercise, by keyboard: opening, closing with Escape, focus, announced error messages.
- No horizontal scrolling on a 320-pixel-wide screen.
What the website respects
- The text size chosen in your browser.
- Your system’s dark theme and high contrast.
- Reduced motion: the breathing then keeps only a fade, as in the app.
- Each section in another language is announced in that language to screen readers.
What remains to be done
- These automated checks do not replace an audit carried out by people, which we have not done yet.
- This page covers the website; the accessibility of the iOS and Android apps will get its own statement.
A barrier on the website? Write to contact@quasareum.com: we will reply and fix it.
