Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

1. Consumer health data we collect, and why

• Usage measurements — only if you agree on the “Help improve Sophria?” screen or later in Profile: events such as a completed session and its title (never the title of a sensitive session: “A difficult moment?”, perinatal care, anxiety, exhaustion, the stress program, waiting for a medical appointment), a completed breathing exercise, journey and program progress, the app’s platform and version, and crash and hang reports, all linked to a random install identifier. On iPhone, Apple Ads campaign information may also be sent once. Purpose: to learn which sessions actually help and to fix bugs.
• Account data — only if you sign in: your email address and display name, the vivance words you set down after a session (they may reflect an inner state), and your synced progress (dates and durations of the sessions completed in the last 12 months, practice days, journeys, the identity of your vivance tree). Purpose: to keep your practice with you across your devices, the service you request when you sign in.

Data that stays on your device is not collected: your preferences and local history, the sessions and feelings that Sophria writes to Apple Health or Health Connect if you turn that on (Sophria never reads health data), and the age range that the App Store or Google Play may provide.

2. Where this data comes from

Directly from you and your device, through the Sophria app. We do not buy or receive consumer health data from anyone else.

3. Sharing

We do not share or sell consumer health data, and Quasareum has no affiliates that receive it. Our host, Cloudflare, Inc., stores and processes it only on our behalf, as our processor. Apple and Google handle sign-in and payments under their own privacy policies; they receive none of the data described in section 1 from us.

4. Your rights and how to exercise them

• Withdraw consent and delete usage measurements: turn off “Help improve Sophria” in Profile. The app asks our servers to erase the measurements linked to your install identifier, then deletes that identifier from your device. These measurements are not linked to your name or email, so the app is the way to act on them.
• Delete your account data: Profile → Account → Delete account. It is erased from our servers right away; our host’s backups are purged within 30 days. Signing out stops the sync.
• Confirm, access, or ask for the list of third parties: write to contact@quasareum.com (subject: “Consumer health data request”), from the email address linked to your Sophria account so that we can verify the request. You can also delete your data this way.

We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by 45 days and will tell you why. Exercising your rights is free and never changes how Sophria works for you.

5. Appeals

If we decline to act on your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We answer within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General or the Nevada Attorney General.

6. Changes

We will update this policy before any change in how we collect or use consumer health data, and the app will ask for your consent again if usage measurements change.
